Answer all questions. All writing must be in BLUE or BLACK ink pen, EXCEPT in drawing should be in pencil                                                                                                                                                            4. By the use of frequency distribution, study the following raw data in the family size of 20 families interviewed was; 3, 2, 2, 4, 3, 7, 8, 1, 3, 6, 2, 2, 4, 5, 6, 4, 3, 4, 5, and 2. Attempt the questions below:
a)     Organize the data by using frequency distribution;
                                                 i.            as individual data
                                               ii.            as grouped data (using class interval)
b)    Give the cumulative frequency of the data.
c)     In the use of the raw data, give the arithmetic mean
d)    what are the importance of frequency distribution in data summarization

The map of Juma’s farm has a total of 600 units both maize and cassava crops. Use the scale of 1:25, 000 and one square box is 2 by 2 (cm) on the sketch map of the farm.
(a)  What is the total area of Juma’s farm in km2?
(b) What is the area of maize crops, if the area of cassava has 350 units? Use the scale provided and your answer should be in km2
(c)  If the farm of Mr. Juma will be cultivated 11 units of ground nuts in the year to come, what will be the remained area of the farm that not cropped by ground nuts, when the scale of the map is changes into 1:30, 000?
(d) State the importance of map scales for geographers including you.

(a)  Earthquakes and causatives to the occurrences.
(b) Effects caused by earthquakes.
(c)  Measures to alleviate the impacts of earthquakes
(d) The global distribution of earthquakes
                                                                                                                                          4. A racing cyclist covers a distance of 45km between town A’ and B’ in 30 minutes, if the distance measures 3cm on the map:
(a)  Calculate the speed of the cyclist
(b) For how long will the cyclist covers 120km from A’ to B’
(c)  Find its statement scale
(d) Draw a graphic scale to read 120km
